Help us change lives.
Since 1956, the Ottawa YMCA has served generations of families, providing access to the resources they need to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.

But today we have an opportunity to do more. And we look to you for support.
To ensure our Y is serving today’s generation with an eye to the next, we need purposefully designed spaces to offer the types of programs and services children and adults need. Our facility is a tool that helps us deliver on our mission. With limited space, an aging infrastructure, and barriers to access, we know we must do more.

We’re reaching out to the community to support our Capital Campaign to help us positively impact future generations and the more than 10,000 people we serve each year.
You can help make this happen.

In addition to traditional YMCA programs, together with our health care partner, we will bring a new vision of health transformation and community impact. Working together, from clinic to community, we will provide a continuum of care to support our members in their health journey providing a menu of evidence-based programs such as Enhance Fitness®, Diabetes Prevention, Moving with Parkinson’s, and LiveStrong®.

The Y’s vision is to create a new Healthy Living Campus that will transform the health and well-being of the community. The plan includes an approximate 65,000 square foot full-service facility with modern amenities at an estimated cost of $20 million that includes:

A natatorium with both a competition pool and warm water therapy pool

Group exercise studios

Kids’ Adventure Center, Corner Play, And Child Watch areas

Family locker rooms

Multi-generational spaces for seniors and teens

Community “living room” concept for socialization and gathering places

Multi-use gymnasium

Integrated health and wellness center for exercise and prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and long-term healthy living options

Community kitchen for healthy eating

Clinical space for our health partner O.S.F.
